how does futures create opportunity?

All facets of our business are open for our employees to participate and take ownership in. The goal is for them to develop real-world experience that equips them to take the next step in their professional journey. One of the reasons we chose streetwear as our vehicle is that it encompasses a wide range of creative and specialized paths. Whether an employee’s passion is for fashion design, social media management, website development, supply chain management, et al. - they can find a role that suits their talent and aspiration within Futures. Ultimately, we hope to help “graduate” our employees and support their transition to the professional industry, artistic career or educational endeavor that they’re striving toward.

is futures a nonprofit?

Short answer - no. We are incorporated as an LLC. We fall into the category of social enterprise, or social impact business. That means our primary mission is to serve a social good. Essentially, we are nonprofit in purpose, with a traditional business structure to support our mission. Currently, this allows us more flexibility in best serving our employees and our local community.

what is streetwear?

Streetwear can best be described as fashionable, casual clothing that utilizes, or is created, through cultural expression. It is constantly changing - deriving its influence from hip-hop, skate, surf, sportswear, punk and other popular cultures. It predominantly draws in a younger and more diverse demographic that spans across race, income levels, socioeconomic status and geography.

how can i buy futures product?

Our first two collections are NOW AVAILABLE for sale at futurescos.com/shop We will initially sell exclusively online and at local events with the plan to move into our own brick-and-mortar boutique.

can i work at futures?

do you have sustainability measures in place?

We are in process to work exclusively with Certified Green screen printers and textile producers. The clothing and textile industries worldwide have and continue to cause great harm to our planet. We will gladly take on greater costs to make sure we responsibly source our products.
